• Test Results and Restoration: After the test, our tester will inform you of the outcome, and your water will be turned back on promptly.

If a leak is detected or your test fails, any necessary cleaning of the assembly, maintenance, or repairs will be charged separately—for example, cleaning a continuous pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) costs $50.00, while labor for replacing internal parts (e.g., plastic washer, O-ring, bonnet, spring) is generally $100, with customers responsible for purchasing the parts needing to be replaced. After each cleaning or repair a subsequent test will be performed to ensure that the assembly passes. For a full PVB replacement, we’ll provide a quote after a thorough assessment, ensuring transparency and tailored solutions for your system.

Additionally, if your water purveyor (e.g., City of Goose Creek) sends an annual notice regarding testing after ST3 Consulting has already performed a test ((e.g., before and after repairs or maintenance), your FlowCert annual fee will cover any necessary testing requirements for that year, ensuring you remain compliant without extra charges. FlowCert subscribers also receive a 15% discount on labor costs for any maintenance, repair, or replacement services (excluding parts), adding further value to your subscription.
